explanation
As far as the design goes I just picked something simple and put a picture of Tupac in the background. I figured he would not use anything too flashy for his website, but would put a picture of himself in the background to let others who are not too familiar with him know what he looks like. The main information I focused on during his life was his early life and his various albums releases that lead to his success. I do not think he would focus too much on his prison sentence, or other bad things that occurred during his life.
Besides music, Tupac was an activist for the poor. So I linked the button text to the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation. Obviously this is something he would support and encourage people to check it out. This website embodies topaz's ideals. For the blog section, I looked at a conversation from Tupac to form his voice. In this conversation he spoke about Romeo and Juliet and how that was, "some true ghetto sh*t". So that conversation gave me an idea of how I would form answers to the various events since 2000. I chose Ferguson and Trayvon Martin as well as Obama's election because Tupac strongly supported the African American struggle. I had him get angry because that's the kind of person he was. A lot of his family were members of the Blank Panthers. I am one hundred percent sure Ferguson and Trayvon Martin is something Tupac would of deeply expressed if he was still alive today. As far as 9/11 goes, that was just a horrible tragedy. I think anyone who died before 2000 would comment on that if they were alive, and would be sad that an event like that occurred. The Tupac hologram at Coachella was just something to lighten the mood. I believe he would most definitely have something good to say about that since he was friends with Snoop Dogg. That's why I had him say good things about the hologram, and be amazed by the advancement of technology nowadays. As far as the scenario goes, I wanted something simple. So he is speaking to me, and everyone else, through the heart. None of that foolish DNA clone stuff. Just the heart. (Citations can be found on the citation page.)
